Once postulated as being a chambered cairn. Modern interpretations of both the site and the excavation report have however put this in doubt. Today the ruinous mound is exactly that...it having no discernable shape to recognise. The chamber the excavator described in his report is now thought to be a later Romano-British feature and nothing to do with the mound; the area has extensive remains from this later period.
On private land and not really worth the effort of searching out.
