Parking at the Monsal Head Hotel take the path at SK186 716 heading SW marked on the OS map. After half a mile the path shown on the map crosses fields but on the ground the path continues along the wall side to the promontory spur of Fin Cop. A section of the double bank and ditches can be viewed from the wall half a mile further on.
The remains date to the Iron Age but recent excavations showed the location was being used in the earlier Neolithic and Mesolithic periods.
