Minning Low
Location - Parwich. Derbyshire.
Grid ref - SK209573
Derbyshires largest megalithic tomb, and sited just off the high peak trail with a concessionary footpath leading up to it.
Built initially in the Neolithic period, but finds seem to suggest it was active right up till the early bronze age.
Parking for the site is at the aptly named "Mininglow Car Park". The walk itself is quite a distance, and you should allow at least 2-3 hrs for the round trip allowing time to explore the site.
