From Bakewell take the A6 Matlock road, follow this till just past the signs for Haddon Hall where you take a right, the first major junction the B5056 Youlgreave, then after about 1km take the first left over the bridge. You then need the first left you come to signposted Stanton-in-the-Peak.
Follow the road up through the village, pass the Flying Childers pub to your right and ignoring Pilhough lane to your left, you then need the next left turn onto Lees road, despite there being a small sign on a wall outside the last house before it, it's easily missed as it almost looks like the driveway to a farm so be on the look out as you approach the winding section near the top of the village, if you miss it and end up heading out into the countryside again turn around and it's the first really sharp right turn on the blind bend.
Follow Lees road through the small wood and for around 500 metres where by the quarry entrance you'll see a small parking area and a signpost and access point for the moor, park here.
Access the moor and just follow the obvious path for around 500 metres, after the 4th gate you pass through you'll see the information board, the circle a further 100 metres or so along in a clearing, you can't miss it.
