Location-

Only vague traces of a rim remain (20m diameter), in the area of the trig point, of this Neolithic passage grave. Ward came here in the 1890's and discovered a small chamber, 1mx0.70m in size, in the SE sector of the rim. It and the approach passage, that curiously led to the mound's centre had already been destroyed with capstones missing. In the paved chamber he recovered 6 dis-articulated burials and in the passage a further 3 inhumations accompanied by a number of flint arrowheads; other burials were also found in the body of the mound itself.
The rocks have concessionary rights of access and parking near the Hopton Works, at the base of the rocks, is available approximately SK243 551. The cairns' remains are close to the trig point.

The abuve pic shows an old well that's kinda been capped off. It isn't a dolmen.
